In-house Engineer — JO-2026-021

Position: In-House Service Engineer / RMA Engineer

Qualification

1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electronics & Telecommunication (E&TC), or ITI
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics repair, PCB troubleshooting, analytical/laboratory instrument servicing, or RMA operations.

Required Skills

1. Component-level PCB troubleshooting and repair.
2. Knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
3. Experience using test equipment such as a multimeter, oscilloscope, and DC power supply.
4. Experience in instrument testing, calibration, and validation.
5. Familiarity with ERP/RMA processes and service documentation.
6. Basic knowledge of firmware/software installation and updates.
7. Good communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Receive and inspect returned instruments and spare parts.
2. Perform fault diagnosis and determine the root cause of failures.
3. Decide whether the product should be repaired, replaced, or scrapped based on technical evaluation.
4. Prepare detailed RMA inspection and repair reports.
5. Maintain complete repair history and product traceability.
6. Coordinate with the Service, Production, Quality, and R&D departments for failure analysis and corrective actions.
7. Test and validate repaired instruments before dispatch.
8. Maintain accurate ERP records for RMA, repairs, and spare parts.
